Channeling the inner creative

Happy birthday to the most wonderful mom. A woman Happy birthday to the most wonderful mom. A woman who grew up in various harsh environments but used that pain to grow herself and ensure no one she ever encounters feels any sort of exclusion or shame in the light of God.

My mom loves everyone.

This drawing was made by a close friend (while imprisoned), who knew mom and made this drawing, with the accompanying message:

“To Lita: little girl with a big heart”
That’s my mom.
Happy birthday Carmen

Grateful for everything I’ve learned this year and the ability to take random ideas even further. Come at me life…ready to build any turret I need.

“Starry Night: Piggly Wiggly Edition” Mom was ask “Starry Night: Piggly Wiggly Edition”

Mom was asking for my rendition of this painting for years.

This painting really got me into the mind of Van Gogh. Painting it near the end of his life, clearly he felt trapped and saw the stars leading to the heavens as escape.

My version has even more of the bottom “life” portion (but also more “heavens”hidden in the dark view). What else can you find from my little corner of the world?

“Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all.” 🌌
